Christmas is centred around forced optimism which doesn't reflect the cruel and harsh reality of this existence and it completely disregards all of the endless suffering that exists, so to me christmas is something irritating. But it's just another day of me wishing to die anyway.

There is nothing positive about any of this, just having the ability to exist is such a horrific thing to me, and it's strange to say 'happy' new year on this forum as after all it's a forum filled with suicidal people who don't wish to be here. I doubt that such a thing as happiness even really exists in this world. The thought of entering a new year fills me with dread and I hate the fact how I've managed to stay here for yet another year. The only thing close to being 'happy' in any way is the thought of all of this coming to an end.

Just because you do not experience happiness or any other emotion for that matter doesn't mean everyone is the same as you. Most people are happy/content with living, we are in the minority.

Funeralcry I agree with everything you just said there and I re read it again to get the point, I get it wholeheartedly, believe me I do, or else I wouldnt be here just like everybody else, just trying to find solace, if i didnt feel how you did I wouldnt be sat with my bag of sn for comfort, for god knows how long, I get how torturous and horrific this world is and how in denial about the suffering around us the average joe is, I get how the false platitudes they try to install in you only serves to keep you working, to keep you functioning, to keep you an ever contributing cog in a machine, or like us a perpetual square cog in a round circle ️, paying taxes, i get how fundamentally broken and divisive our societies are becoming, how we cant agree on anything anymore, how the me me me me and I culture is growing on social media, the positive toxicity movement that surrounds us, but do you know what mate, it doesnt stop me wishing you well and hoping that by some Devine miracle whether in this life or the next or whatever that may be that we can at least hope for something, some crumb of comfort in this monumental shitshow we call life, happy Christmas I know it is meaningless, but happy Christmas anyways, just trying to find a teeny weeny bit of joy in this clusterfuck, I get your points, they are very valid and very infuriating for us to be in, but I still wish well to my fellow human being, take care.
