I've been in twice, the longest being 7 months. If you think you have it bad, there are people in there who definitely should not be in public.
The one I was in was pretty badass, I had a blast. They had a little snack station with fruits, pudding, jello, etc, that you could get anytime you wanted. Most people were there for thoughts or attempts of ctb. Some were plain batshit crazy.
There was one guy who would argue with himself, and get into a fight....with himself. He'd punch himself in the face, twist his own arm and slam himself into the wall, kick himself in the other leg, bite, scratch, plus lay down on the floor trying to put himself in a headlock. That was always entertaining. All it needed was for someone else yelling for him to kick his ass.
But all in all, being there made me feel more comfortable being around others who thought and felt the same way I did. I kept in contact with a couple of them when I, or them, got released. One got married and managed to improve his well being, 3 ctb, and the others disappeared (stopped responding to my texts) so I don't know what became of them.
Yeah, I'd go back.
