First, I think it is important to remember that the internet frequently serves as one vast echo chamber. IMO, the facts are still indeterminate. The Exit International post is interesting, but could be the echo chamber effect.
I think it is reasonable to believe that people from Canada and Australia have had visits from law enforcement, along with associated consequences. The initial rationale was that A's shipper was compromised, but A (apparently) denies this. I don't buy that A. is just trying to soak the last of a dying business. I don't know why I don't buy that. Just call it intuition. I offer nothing more. I assume he is telling the truth when he says his courier has not been compromised.
Bottom line, I believe this is a customs issue. As I said previously, I believe that the private courier brings N. from Mexico to the USA and ships from there. Therefore, if you are in the USA, you bypass customs. If you are in another country, you do not bypass customs. I believe those in Canada and Australia that have been caught have been caught through customs somehow.
That's my best guess for the moment.
