Medical cannabis in the UK? Difficulty cos of past psychosis?

Hey all,

I hope someone can help answer this for me.

I really need some weed. On the one hand, I have conditions that are still untreated despite trying multiple medications. But on the other hand, I've had psychosis, and it's on my NHS records, and from what I gather, that psychosis could make me ineligible for medical cannabis?

How rigid is the rule that previous psychosis means a person is no longer eligible for medical cannabis? I'm confidently guessing that I wouldn't be able to hide that I had psychosis somehow? If i apply and get denied, could an appeal get anywhere?

Say I go private to get approved, what exactly do I need to ask the NHS for in terms of information to pass to the private doctor? Cos I want them to be able to see that my ADHD is still untreated, but not that I've had psychosis?

Why not just buy some from your local dealer, or even the dark web? You'll get it delivered tmrw or the day after if you order today. I wasn't aware the UK dispensed medical cannabis at all...

Thanks for replying. The stuff I get off the dark net is reliably appalling in strength. Most of it might as well be CBD hemp it's that bad! And it's expensive, too. Medical cannabis is vastly superior, for the same price, because each batch is tested in a lab for potency and it's grown by people with resources and they know what they're doing! And I don't have any local contacts for people that sell it sadly
