    Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

    If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It doesn't affect me at all, I have neither energy nor patience to watch such "pro-life" stuff. There's only one solution to my problem and that cannot be prescribed, or changed by comments by "pro-life" supporters.

I have my own opinions and these people have their own opinions and BOTH are valid. An opposing opinion gives me something to think about... but it has not changed my mind.

This man doesn't have what it takes to be a conservative. So much got lost along the way, with the religious right taking over, just, exactly, like Barry Goldwater said it would, and the ideal of personal autonomy has been thrown out the window.

I went through the video and I'll summarize the points made;

- MaiD is used to kill off the weak links of society thus creating cheaper medical costs (he actually provided evidence on this and based off it, MaiD is FAR cheaper).
- MaiD's purpose is one of eugenic purpose (killing off the less desirable genetic traits). He also compared it to WW2.
- He provided a case of a 23 year old man who was diabetic, depressed and a "lack of girlfriend" (apparently it was on a public report). It apparently was RECOMMENDED by doctors which I'd assume would be a massive breach of protocol and if it is true (I doubt it) then the doctor would be severely reprimanded.

It should be noted that MaiD isn't accessible for those with mental illnesses as of yet.

I think that's about it, I watched the video hours ago and it was the same pro-life stuff we've seen 100 times over. He just made outrageous claims with no or very little evidence without citing reputable sources.

I also watched the prozac video I'll summarize the claims;

- The drug was poorly understood when it was commonly prescribed (I think 90s? I'm pulling this from memory).
- The drug still isn't understood.
- Serotonin is has not been shown to have conclusive ties to depression.
- The medical community does not understand how the drug works yet still prescribes it.

- There might of been a claim prozac is commonly prescribed to profit off the weak members of society (Again, pulling this from memory).

- May of also been a claim of the "proper" (might of used humane) way to die from a terminal illness is for it to take your life instead of euthanasia.

When did Matt care about the weaker members of society? All I've heard is him slandering trans folk. With that track record I would not be surprised if he's slandering MaiD for profit, it's low-hanging fruit like poking fun at trans people. The same market would be super religious and be totally against MaiD as it's easy to market death as inherently bad.

In conclusion, it's nothing new and only looks to be a bunch of baseless slander against MaiD without proper evidence or citations.
