I have read that "rubbing alcohol and bleach could produce chloroform when mixed, if the alcohol is isopropyl-type rubbing alcohol and the bleach is hypochlorite-type bleach." I've stumbled upon a few successful suicides using this method with a bag over the head. But in those case studies, the individuals seemed to have procured legitimate chloroform somehow? Any clue if an at home concoction of chloroform would work? Supposed to smell and taste sweet, seems like it would minimize pain given its surgical use.
N is my preferred method but most complicated to obtain, and everyone in my life knows peru is my holy grail for suicide so people will be concerned if i just casually book a trip to peru. I had procured sodium nitrite and planned to consume and long drop hang myself off a bridge but unfortunately the police got involved, my supply was confiscated and I was committed. As a result, since the hospitalization, I've been in a partial day program 5x per week for the last month with no end in sight...was told to expect another 4 to 6 weeks minimum of the program (which is literal shit, just a money grab and waste of my time).
Upon reflection, the hanging and sodium nitrite attempt was desperate and not well thought out. I'm concerned about the pain of a sodium nitrite overdose and I think a drop hang could be potentially problematic if I fuck it up and end up suffocating instead of breaking my neck.
I just want to go peacefully, ya know? I don't want to turn blue or be covered in vomit or decapitate myself by calcuting my rope length and drop wrong. I don't want to traumatize the people I'm leaving behind and I don't want people to think I struggled tragically in my last moments and had some painful gory death.
Browsed some post pertaining to chloroform but didn't find what I was looking for. Any advice? I've read the peaceful pill handbook many times and I'm just not sure the exit bag method is for me, I'm concerned about rigging up some contraption and I don't know how to use gas dispensing equipment like that. I know there are tutorials but I have to be discreet. Don't want another foiled attempt and if I started shipping cases to my house, my partner would be aware as they work from home and intercept all our deliveries.
Even hiding the sodium nitrite was a struggle. I got delivered to the post office and my partner saw the box, which was vaguely labeled so I told her I'd purchased headlamps from a random online cheapo retailer but she obviously didn't believe it. I constantly had to change hiding locations so my partner wouldn't find it. It added a lot of stress and I just want a lowkey peaceful end.
