Just reading a forum post on Suicide Forum the boring forum that is pro life and you can't discuss methods - anyway one girl writes :

2 weeks ago I found a community forum type of site that's like an evil version of this one. It's about suicide but it's in favour of people killing themselves. I knew intelllucally those sites existed but now I've seen that one a few times and I'm trying to stop going back. The last thing I need is to be influenced by a site like that. I tried to learn from YouTube how to block a website on my own computer and phone but I haven't figured it out yet !!

And thus we have how people can compartmentalize and objectify humans and the ideological divisions occur, often trumping our humanity as we recoil in fear and superstition. Out of sight, out of mind, so much easier than trying to understand why, than it is to blame shift or blame a supernatural force. I still struggle with this too at times, but I am more rational than I used to be, for better or worse. The fact is, the truth death sentence was being born, and though I am not sure we chose or didn't choose to come into this existence, I believe our parents had a choice, and even if they did all they could to give us a good life, they could not protect us from all of life's slings and arrows; those we receive by others or by our own hands, and those we give others. Such a sad existence in so many ways, only punctuated in its bittersweetness by beauty. I feel my words are not mine own now, what force possesses me as I attempt to wax poetic? The world may never know (not sure I think that's a commercial somewhere, ah, commercialism) xD

But in all seriousness, I have personally found this place very therapeutic, though in my case, my suicidality has never gone beyond ideation, so I'm just sort of in the misery loves company crowd. My heart goes out to those who are going through with it as we speak, every day. It's tragic, really, that we cannot save us from ourselves nor from each other in the end, I don't foresee this ever changing unless science or some miracle happens, but eh, I doubt it. However, these brussel sprouts were pretty tasty and I am breathing better. Wow, I like brussel sprouts? I must be getting old.

But worse for them. They will torture themselves simply living and this is worse in their situation. They are victims of their own thoughts and if they decided to close their only escape door, it's their problem.

Despite myself remaining ambivalent about my possible suicide at some point in the future, I don't judge any who go through with it, because they were suffering to a degree I cannot yet imagine. How could there be any punishment for such a thing? At least, that is how I feel despite my superstitious doubts off and on. And then again, I was raised in a Bible Belt state in the US, though my parents were not very strictly religious, the culture in Kansas is very Christian still. I suppose it's far from the worst kind of religion in terms of the prejudices and fearful hatred it can cause, but I have had small doses of tough love from self-professed Christians and it only further alienated me. Many here are the Republican, pro-gun pro war Christians, not the turn the other cheek variety, it seems.

Procreation is indeed to me an ultimate act of narcissism, I have been an antinatalist since 2010 and found I resonated strongly with this philosophy. Suffering is the only guarantee, relief of pain is considered happiness, and maybe if we're lucky we'll experience actual carefree joy, but not all of us do obviously, some have their candles exterminated after a very short and painful existence, or, a very long and painful existence. I'm preaching to the choir, I apologize.

Indeed, they judge themselves as they judge us, it would seem. We create so many prisons for one another all the while being in this prison called life, despite its possible beauty at times, I consider it an illusion. Better to never have been born indeed.

I really love how this website is pro choice. Not pro life. Not pro suicide. But is supportive of whatever people want to do. It's probably the only website like this.

Pro life isn't good, but I agree pro suicide forums aren't good, either. Some people want to live or consider their options. Let them. Some people want to die. Let them.

I dont see how this site is evil in anyway I believe we all should be able to decide when we go. I think it is wrong for others to say we have to live and be miserable just so they arent affected. Ya it affects others but no matter when you die it will still have a impact on someone. No matter what we all die and in the end when we die really doesn't matter if you think life is worth living then live if you think life isnt worth living and that it will never get better why should you have to suffer. Me personally I have the power everyday whether I want to live or die its the one thing I can control. The way I would like to die but probably wont happen is being with a girl that I care deeply for and both of us taking pills together and slowly pass away holding eachother. Most people think that is screwed up but I think its a beautiful way to die dieing with the person you love together.
