While I personally have never doxxed anyone, but have been doxxed myself... I never advocate for doxxing... of anyone... no matter what they have done.

That said... sometimes people do deserve something for their actions, if they have done something wrong... like losing a job could be justified even if the doxxing wasn't. Without context of the situation, it's hard to take a side.

I can give context

I was disabled by my job due to an injury and they can no longer accommodate it

As for doxxing its because I draw risqué art and political pieces

does someone really have to plead their case with a 5k word defense with a detailed recount, receipts/screenshots, and possibly even more personal information— such as this person being disabled— to receive the benefit of the doubt on an anonymous forum

this is the kind of shit that just doesn't need to be explicitly stated in every anonymous discussion ever. if someone posted about getting raped, is it necessary to preface your comfort or input with a disclaimer defending the imaginary victim of a hypothetical false accusation "just in case!"? i'd think you can just post whatever encouragement you can think of with the good faith that people are intelligent enough to know that you don't intend for your words to be twisted to fit a devious narrative after being misled.

matter of fact while we're at it, when people come here talking about how to kill themselves because they've been abused, betrayed, or ignored in their life, do you chime in with the same skepticism of the narrative, pretending to be objective?

Context does help... Thanks. Like I said, I never support doxxing even when someone is super awful. It's just bad practice and can only serve to encourage mob justice, which nobody should ever want because mob justice never ends like you think it will and lots of innocent bystanders get caught up in it along the way. So nobody should advocate doxxing, period. There are proper channels to report people who you think have done something that needs punishing by law enforcement.

Were you disabled by your job/on the job originally? That seems particularly shitty if they are responsible for your injury in the first place and then compound it by firing you for not being able to do the same job.

if it makes you feel better most people barely do anything with doxes. ive have seen people get doxxed for so much worst and all people have done had sent things to their house. all you could really do now is change all your passwords, stay off any social medias tied to your doxx (deactivate the accounts and emails tied to you if needed), and move on from that identity. ofc more action could be taken such as changing phone numbers but that just depends on the threat model. i hope all is well for you in the future, the internet sucks sometimes.

I was disabled on the job, yes. I herniated 3 discs, scattered shmorls nodes in my back and have permanent nerve damage to my right side due to lack of equipment. Im suing them but im honestly on the verge of CTB soon

Good lord, but that's just about the shittiest way a company can treat someone. I hope they lose a lot in the lawsuit, as they should... and for this to be a driving force in making you suicidal. I'm not physically disabled, so I can only imagine that part... but the betrayal of a company you literally gave your body to treating you like this is indefensible. I am sorry for how you're feeling. You should not be having to deal with this.

It's all because those company's want the perfect fucking people and doesn't give a fuck about them being injured, they just fire someone that can't do anything about it, what is this world it's starting to make me go insane

I'm so sorry about losing your job. The same thing happened to be in the past. I'm also very worried about losing my job now. I may not have a job past the first quarter of 2026. Worrying about job security sucks. I wish we could just do a good job and stay at the same company for our entire career. I feel your pain. I've been there. I wish you all the best.

This is the biggest downgrade to society in our lifetimes. This was possible once. Private equity has ruined that. They should be dying, not us

All executives cares about is their stock price and how much money is in their bonuses. They literally don't care if we live or die.
