It's hard to imagine myself being in a long-term relationship with someone who can handle me being at my worst almost all the fucking time. Always wishing I didn't wake up that morning. Always hating myself so much I want to crawl out of my own body. Always feeling like a burden just by being present. Being in a friendship gives me a new kind of stress that I can't even commit to for more than a month, but a romantic relationship sounds so much worse.

I'm wondering what it's like for suicidal people who have been in a relationship with someone for a long while, and what it's like for their partner. How did they find out if they have? How are they supporting you? I don't know, say whatever comes to mind if you'd like to share, even if the topic doesn't really apply to you specifically.

Been both places, with someone suicidal and been suicidal.

In my experience, either is toxic to both people.

Wish I could say its great and just what I needed but that is just not true. It was an emotional rollecoaster both times.
