  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Is where you live a factor at all in your suicidal ideation? Could be your town, city, county, state, province, or country. Or is it not a factor at all? It is certainly a factor with me. Why don't you move, you might say. The stress and anxiety of all facets of the physical act of moving itself. Going somewhere where I don't know a soul or where anything "is".

When a soul seeks relief location may not be a factor. Some desire relief any costs. Some prefer to ctb theatrically, and dramatically. It depends on the individual. I

I would be suicidal if I lived anywhere in this world. People can escape from where they live but they cannot escape from themselves and their thoughts. The thing that I have a problem with is existence itself and only death would bring me relief. But I don't like the UK because it's a very pro life country with no euthanasia options.

I changed cities a few years ago and it was damn hard, despite only being an hour and a half away. All my past history erased, trying to start building a reputation from scratch, yet everyone else actually belonged there. Worse, smaller cities have far less tolerance for people who are different in any way.

I'd argue that there's also a socioeconomic factor. People with the means to do so can actually choose where they live, rather than just going with whatever is affordable. But all in all, yes location is a factor.

How did yo move to the UK if i may inquire?
I was an oversea student and then I married to an English man. He was not nice and turned out he probably not interested in female. Then I married another English man which probably not help my illness too.

Well, I live in a quite violent neighbourhood. So I also have to be watchful of my nearby resident's homicidal ideations.

The city I was born in was a factor. It's a big city. I went to it recently, and got random people's stories. So much violence. Mainly inside families. It's an epidemic, greater than covid, greater than almost anything

Maybe even greater than global warming, if it disables people from fighting it

Where my parents came from mattered, too. One of them came from a colonized nation, humiliated. It pumps out great worker drones. Because they have an inferiority complex

Get the peasants infighting, you've divided & conquered them. Humiliate the peasants, they'll lick your boots & beat their kids

I used to think so, but after going to a lot of different places to try and get a new perspective all of my problems went with me and I felt exactly the same.

I would like to be gone from the horrid place I live (with neighbours from hell) but I don't have the energy to move all this shit from one place and take it to another. It's just too much.
