• Hello Guest,

We will not be following or complying with the Online Safety Bill that was recently signed into law in the UK. This bill will not affect the operations of the site, nor do we have a presence in the UK to receive notice or fines that the UK Government may impose.

We would highly recommend that all users from the UK get some sort of VPN, and you should petition your lawmakers to let them know how you feel about this piece of draconian legislation.

That would be a big problem, also at my method, hanging. When I dangle there half an hour it would not matter if someone rescues me.

If you used a good vpn and a burner phone to sign up for google you'd probably be safe using YouTube Livestream. But don't quote me on that.
But they would likely find it and shut it down. Or at least, that's what I would be afraid of.

I know from my experience as a 911 dispatcher, having gotten a call from FB about a suicide threat, that FB is actively monitoring and will call the cops on you.

Does someone from FB literally just call you with all pertinent details?

Yes. And I mean ALL the details, down to the IP address and geolocation coordinates.

Someone I knew posted an "I want to kill myself" status on Facebook last year. Nothing came of it. I wonder if it depends on sincerity or some other strange metric.

Facebook is how I got the cops called on me. I stay away from that cesspool now.

In the end, it's up to the officer I dispatch the call to. Once I tell them about it, I've done my job. They might want to go check up on it, or they might be lazy that night and tell me to call them back when there's a body.

I wouldn't do such thing. I do want the people left behind to watch my final moments.

When I had facebook, I would often openly talk about wishing for death, but no one ever seemed to care. I prefer that over people pretending to care about me, when they actually don't.

I was going to do that, the realized that maybe I still had some hope that someone would care, or feel the pain I did. I have moved on to wanting to just be silent when I do it.

I’ve thought about it but never gave it sincere consideration. People who watch death vids often like a little gore or drama whereas I’d just be drifting off alone. Plus it would be difficult to find a safe platform for streaming, sites are really vigilant and people are snitches.

If it was an instant method like gunshot, I would. Otherwise there's just too much of a risk of cops being called and being saved.

I wouldnt live stream it publicly. Maybe to a few friends who wanted to see Sn work, and people whom I could talk to.

Probably wouldn't stream my own death, but in all of its morbidness, I would absolutely love to watch someone else's suicide live.

Some do it to be edgy to the end, others want attention, and some would like to record their own death for others to "reference". I'd like to see a SN death on film, for example.

If you are doing something from the PPH, Exit ask people if they want to livestream to them. They even have a special app for it! It's to help them record observations to share with people in their publications.

Have you ever thought of streaming your suicide live to give others achance to see how to do it succesful?
streaming is the way to go if the method is enjoyable to watch in my opinion.
Would not really want to stream if I CTB with a friend.
