Venting Literally so forgettable my job forgot I exist

I'd be upset if it wasn't so darkly funny.

Came into work usual time because 99.9% of the time I work the same days and times. Check assignment sheet. My name isn't there. Weird. Double check schedule on my phone. Find out that I'm actually not listed as working at all next month. Think I got fired somehow, but actually don't feel anxious about it — genuinely just a "meh" feeling — but then think if my security badge still works and I never got a call, probably not.

Have to go to managers' office and it was vaguely implied (not using the words, but the spirit of them) they forgot I exist and thus forgot to schedule me. For the whole incoming month straight. Flat out forgot I existed even though I've been there for 6+ months now in a field with a very high turnover rate.

EDIT: Forgot to add, schedule fixed since then.

I'd be sad if it wasn't so funny and just kind of confirmed my suspicions that, yes, I really am boring and forgettable, it isn't just "depression lying to me".

It's even worse because when I was checking the assignment sheet paper one of the other employees who I've seen and worked with dozens and dozens and dozens of times had to ask what my name was. And mind you, work is the time when I actually force myself to socialize. All apparently for naught if folks I've worked with 100+ times can't even hazard a guess as to who I am.

Not even sure why I'm writing this. Just kind of sucks. At least I know when I CTB no one at work will particularly notice or care.

Yeah, apparently they're good at giving you Somewhere to be if you come in and they cancel you last min, but like both the scheduling guy and the managers who check the schedules to approve them all collectively forgot I exist as a person and. It's not a Big Deal and it's resolved but still sort of sucks.

Some employers are really not worth the time you invest in them.
Can you find another job to replace this one? You can honestly say your previous employer did not supply sufficient hours.

They fixed the situation since this and put me back on the schedule, but really it just sucks that they all but admitted multiple sets of people (guy who makes schedules, multiple managers who approve them) all collectively forgot I worked there when I do full time.
