Falling sounds so nice to me. To feel like I'm flying as I leave the world. But I'm not sure if jumping off an overpass above a highway will do the job. Will it?

The height will be the average height of most overpasses that gets posted on the green signs above. So like, I'm guessing 20 feet high? You think that's enough if I fall on concreteIt depends on the height, but I highly doubt it (No pun intended). I think what will happen is that one will fall, get hurt and then get ran over if there is traffic below. Not a pretty way to go, if you ask me.
Good luck.
I'm not going to directly reply to this, but will encourage you to search on the internet about the how long can the average human fall. It should solve your question. The height will be the average height of most overpasses that gets posted on the green signs above. So like, I'm guessing 20 feet high? Why won't you directly reply to it?I'm not going to directly reply to this, but will encourage you to search on the internet about the how long can the average human fall. It should solve your question.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Please if you CTB try not to get anyone else get hurt during the process.I would caution against jumping from overpasses no matter the height. You could cause a car accident, or you could survive the fall only to be run over (which seems like a very painful end imo.)
I read about a driver who was killed by jumper going thru windshield so not a good idea.Falling sounds so nice to me. To feel like I'm flying as I leave the world. But I'm not sure if jumping off an overpass above a highway will do the job. Will it?
20 feet high?
Even if no one gets directly hurt you're gonna scar some people mentally too. No one should have to deal with that. This is exactly what I was thinking. Please if you CTB try not to get anyone else get hurt during the process.
I dislike this line of reasoning, because it completely fails to address the point that suicide methods such as these are usually chosen for lack of other methods. Do not blame the suicide who was forced to resort to such cruel methods as these, but pro-life advocates and the socially established pro-life thinking that prevent assisted suicide, or at the very least access to better methods. Please don't do this method. It is a cruel thing to do to the sad person who will run his car into you.

If it is so important for society that people don't traumatise others with their suicide attempts, why isn't assisted suicide available and many good methods are severely restricted or downright forbidden? As long as good methods are hard to come by, people will have to resort to crude methods that might traumatise others. By the way, if train drivers are so traumatised by jumpers, why have I never seen them advocate assisted suicide?Poss b/ trauma 2 othrs shld factr in2 decision mking. Also w/ train.
