I think what's really cruel about this life is that it doesn't even matter no matter how much we're even trying to be 'positive, optimistic, or hopeful'. The only thing that matters/most important/urgent & basic is just *HOW* can we solve each our own problems in life.
The universe doesn't care about what we feel (our feelings/emotions etc2 dsb2). It's simply just whether we can survive, or die.
If we can't survive, then we'll die.
Again, I've always repeated this: Life is simple, yes, but Life is *depressingly* simple (hence that's why all those "Philosophical Pessimism" such as: antinatalism, efilism, promortalism, extinctionism, depressive realism, gnosticism, & even nihilism)
