Life is like traveling by train. With many stops, route changes and even accidents.

When we are born, we get on the train with our parents and at first we think that we will always be on this trip with them. But one day they get off at the same station, and we lonely continue our journey without them.

Time goes by, other people get into the car. Some will become very important to us, perhaps even stay until the very end of the trip. Someone will leave the carriage, forever leaving an empty seat next to us. And someone disappears at the stations so imperceptibly that we will not even notice that completely different people are already sitting in their places.

This trip will be full of joy, sadness, expectation, hope, betrayal, forgiveness, greetings and goodbyes. At some moments we will think about pressing the stop-crane or transferring to another car, and sometimes we will look out the window with sincere pleasure and be interested in the newly entered passengers.

The main secret of the trip: we do not know at which station we have to get off. You just need to enjoy the ride yourself and make it comfortable for the passengers sitting next to you.

It is very important. After all, when we reach our final destination, it is necessary that the people who continue on the path feel that our place is empty, and they have wonderful memories of who just sat here.

A lovely analogy. And some people need to transfer at a particular station from train to bus.

You forgot to add that some people travel first class and others have to sleep in the baggage compartment or on the roof of the train, and even first class travellers are not immune to travel-sickness. Most importantly, the entire journey is unnecessary, but your parents bought a ticket for you and forced you to go. There is nothing you would have missed if you had never boarded.
The main secret of the trip: we do not know at which station we have to get off. You just need to enjoy the ride yourself and make it comfortable for the passengers sitting next to you.
You are willfully ignorant by excluding the other option: Getting off the train. If you are forced to go on a trip that does not appeal to you and that you did not agree to in the first place, you do not somehow see it through to the bitter end, you cancel it and return back home.

Explain yourself. This is anything but self-evident and requires justification.

Yes life is like a train journey; outdated infrastructure, mismanaged and underfunded.

If my life is a train journey, then I need to get off this train. I wish I was never born in the first place. I do not see how this life is important in any way, everything is meaningless. We suffer just for the sake of it. There is no point to this journey.

The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." And we … kill those people. "Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real." It's just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok … But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.

Utopianism is just idealistic. Globalisation and the profiteers who feed of the back of others will.continue to spin the big LIE. Why would we want to explore outer space together, when the the talking heads of cop26 are unable to explore and reach agreement to save our own world. ?.

I have no notions of a perfect society, I don't know what that means. I know we can do much better than what we've got.
Whether it is to be Utopia or Oblivion will be a touch-and-go relay race right up to the final moment.... Humanity is in 'final exam' as to whether or not it qualifies for continuance in Universe.

A+ post. I agree with everything you said. We were born without a choice and forced to stay (social pressure/SI/etc). Our existence is completely random and unnecessary.

Trying to give meaning to a meaningless existence is the cause of all madness. That is why people willingly believe in obvious bullshit like religion.
