The longer you play it, the greater the chance is that you will die.

Everyday Life: A Gamble We Don't Even Realize

Have you ever stopped to consider the unpredictable nature of life? It's astonishing when you think about it. We go about our daily routines, waking up, going to work or school, seemingly secure in our existence. But if you take a moment to glance at world death statistics or watch the news, you'll realize that people meet their end in the most unexpected ways.

Every day, around 150,000 individuals pass away, some due to accidents, others due to natural causes, heart attacks, or even suicides. What's truly bewildering is that many of these deaths seem utterly random.

So, as we wake up each day and embark on our daily endeavors, we are, in fact, engaging in a subtle gamble with our lives.

Life, in essence, is a gamble; we can never predict when our time will come. It could be at any moment, although, I must emphasize, probably not right now.

True but in general terms- depending on where you live, people are living longer now. So, maybe the chances of dieing are lower. Cars are safer than they were. Everyone is safety and liability conscious- some countries anyway. Employers can get into trouble for exposing you to risks. People probably sue more now!

That said- you're right. It's all super random. How many people do you know though that died unexpectedly before their time? Unless death is introduced to us early, I think the majority of people don't think about it all that much. Or, they try not to!

That simile also applies to sexual reproduction, ranging from hard to impossible mode. For asexual reproduction and viral infection, it's an instant game over.

Those who ceasing existing are fortunate to me, the tragedy lies in how humans still so selfishly decide to impose existence despite the fact that it causes nothing but harm, and is very futile anyway. I'd certainly always prefer to not exist no matter what.
