Discussion Life as an obligation

Why do our families make it sound like it's an obligation to go threw life..like we didn't even agree (consent) to this life in the first place..or is it just me.. maybe they don't expect anything from me it's me who's giving them so much mental space

And the way people describe survival scenarios, periods of famine, that sort of thing, discussing all the things that "had to" be done with some sort of sick admiration or pride.
Why don't we hear "That one dude though, what a smart MFer! he dropped himself as soon as he saw it would be a winter with no food, good thinking, cuz it's so not worth it!"

I just find it so cruel how existence is an obligation with suffering seen as to force and prolong no matter what even know this existence was imposed in the first place, I see so much cruelty in how there's no acceptance towards preferring non-existence. I never would have chosen or wished for any of this so I should have the option to painlessly free myself from it whenever I wish to but of course human existence is enslavement instead and I suffer so much from being enslaved in this existence without the option to just simply cease existing and never suffer ever again with no risks of trying to die going wrong and leading to way worse agony. I personally find existence to be deeply undesirable in every way, to me existence just feels like a mistake, I find it a tragedy how this existence was imposed and I'd never wish to be conscious of anything at all, I'd always prefer to be non-existent than be enslaved in this existence of pointless suffering capable of suffering to unlimited amounts destined to decay and die anyway.

It's a uniquely human desire, to externalize and mythologize their problems. It's easier to shrug and accept a circumstance as mystical, inevitable, and intractible, rather than confront the hard fact that life is nothing but a culmination of choices, and you don't "have to" do anything, because there's always a choice to be made. It helps humans cope with the complexities of life, and eases the burden of personal responsibility. "I didn't have a choice! I had to!"

It's terrifying to confront the truth of agency, because you'll reckon with and own the weight of the decisions you made, or didn't make, and acknowledge that every step to this point could have been taken differently.

Right !?..I want to say to them :"can I just leave, you guys seem happy and content, while I'm on fire you aren't willing to hear or accept why I'm angry about my life so is it okay if I leave.hello.like I don't wanna bother you guys if you think my wants are crazy I can leave you anytime ..you say you are family but it's only as a label..you clearly don't give af about what I want.what disturbs me and when I tell you you shame me, to show me exactly how I'm different from you guys.." "you guys can put these responsibilities on each other and don't count me out"
