I know this is a suicide forum, so everyone here has their own individual issues and reasons for not wanting to be here, but I do see a lot of bias towards life being this horrendous thing that nobody should experience and how procreation is the most evil thing anyone could do.

I think people need to take a more rounded view and not just a view on how they personally perceive the world.

I've seen both sides, prior to my life altering physical conditions I was happy in life, optimistic and had plans, but now all that has changed. That doesn't mean to say it's like that for everyone, so I would never generalise and say this world is an evil hell hole for everyone, as that simply is not the case.

One thing I do now believe in though is the absolute human right to have voluntarily assisted suicide in every country in the world.

That way, people can procreate and bring new people to experience the wonders that life has to offer, but at the same time safe in the knowledge that if that life they create turns out to be a life of unfortunate misery, that they have the option to peacefully end it.

I do believe there are people on here who could get better and go on to live a fulfilling, joyful and happy life, especially when I see so many late teenagers who are still going through the process of finding themselves.

I wish nothing for happiness and peace for everyone, whether that be in this life or in death. But try not to give up hope, so many are in situational circumstances that could well change for the better given enough time.

Love to you all, but please try to look at things from all points of view, not just your own.

I think with people who have depression, we tend to see things and the world in a negative filter
Depression is a nasty illness, and it is easy to be trapped in a negative state of despair, as our brains seem to be subconsciously wired with negative thoughts.
I will always personally see life as a hellish prison, but someone else out there might think life is a paradise or heaven, which is good for them

please try to look at things from all points of view, not just your own.

We have been doing this in real life since time immemorial. This place exists for us to solely focus on things from our point of view.

I think people who say life is good haven't suffered unending constant unbearable pain.

What is worth for example having 95% of your skin burned off and having to live like that and with the pain . Is looking at nature, eating a sandwich, looking at the " "beautiful" sunset (and burning ur retina) Worth that?

U think pain is not bad? Take a large block of ice and put it on ur back .

I think all the things they constantly tell us are so good , beautiful, important, enjoyable are not objectively so. However the most extreme pain extreme suffering and extreme torture are objectively bad. To me the only real thing is extreme pain and avoiding that.

There are so many horrible things that can happen to anyone any day. Why risk that? Why should I be happy to be under such threats work a job , constant problems, chores etc: that is life why is that good and why should I be happy about being in this hell?

I'm not depressed. Life is objectively a harmful imposition prison slavery torture

The only reason Im still in this evil world and evil life is because I fear failing a diy suicide method. Killing yourself like many things in horrible life are ridiculously difficult. And they purposely made suicide a million times more difficult by making assisted suicide and nembutal crimes

Furthermore pain , suffering,old age , many diseases , and natural deaths are much worse than people have been brainwashed to believe

Unfortunately for you, it's not just me. If you go over to the Wikipedia page of Antinatalism you will find many people more knowledgeable than me who have the same conclusion.
It also simply makes sense from a logical point of view.
If you have the desire to show a child the wonders of this world there are plenty of orphans ready to be adopted.

We can agree to disagree and that's absolutely fine.

People come on here for all sorts of reason such as:

1. Looking for resources
2. Finding out info on methods
3. Looking for advice
4. Looking to meet people who they can relate to
5. Looking for support
6. Looking to vent

The list goes on. All I'm saying is there are some who come on here who could be vulnerable, but given the right advice have a chance of turning thing's around. There are also some who have no chance of turning thing's around.

I just think it's best to be mindful off all the types of people on here and not just generalise things and say that's the way it is for everyone, because that's a one sided point of view.

Absolutely agree to a point, although why should someone else take on the responsibility of someone else's child and deny them the opportunity of making their own. If they want to, then that's also absolutely fine. We should also be looking into why there are plenty of Orphans. Sure come are due to circumstances outside of the parents control, but also a lot where it was down to the selfishness of the parents involved and in that case they shouldn't have procreated in the first instance.

You have my deepest sympathy, you really do and that's why voluntary assisted dying should 100% be available. You fit the case perfectly and it's a crime and evil that the option is not there for you.

I'm not saying you should be happy in what is your hell of an existing, not saying that at all.

I'm just saying I've seen many posts on this site that are all from a one sided point of view, which is based on their own individual experiences and circumstances, but you can't just say that's how it is for everyone.

The problem with that is if someone young and vulnerable on here for example keeps reading that's how it is for everyone, they maybe could have gotten better and had a chance of getting better. All based on situations and circumstances of course, but it is heartbreaking when you see 18 years olds on here contemplating suicide when you can clearly tell from their posts that they just need some good advice, help and support.
