  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

To cut a long story short I decided a few years ago to assume esponsibility for my family because my dad walked out and left them high and dry. A lot of the day to day stuff, I would take care of. There is very little in my name that we share so the situation isn't t too muddy. So far I've decided to leave an encrypted USB containing scans of official documents (birth certificate, SSN, Passport, etc.), login information for shared accounts, and a document containing instructions. I was thinking maybe some sort of like notarized consent waiver would be a good idea but I don't know how I'd go about getting one of those or if that would even be worthwile. I'm absolutely open to some feedback. Thanks in advance 🙏
