No I never did any identity theft, even back then during my wreckless years I would have never done that. I messed up my own credit record and once that was messed up I changed minor details about myself so i could get around my bad credit, so although I wasn't using someone else's details I wasn't actually using mine either.

I eventually got arrested and bailed, I then paid back literally every penny I had while i was on bail which was multiple 1000s to the banks. For whatever reason when i answered bail they never charged me and just gave me a caution, may be the banks/police seen I had tried to make amends and that I had no previous. Getting arrested and locked up scared me and that was the end of my fraud days, about 24 years ago now.
That's good pal that the consequences weren't too bad. Thanks for reply.
Regards

With respect to coronavirus, I feel sorry for those of you in occupations that requires you to have significant human interaction. Do you think you will continue to work in the same way? Do you have a choice?

Ironically enough I study psychology and aim to go towards child and youth clinical psychology, if I live for that long. I like studying this though, although I'd rather have death.

I worked as a private investigator in the past. Currently a funeral director.

Let's not kid ourselves, you've been here since 2018. Maybe, just maybe, you like the IDEA of death but not ACTUAL death itself, hence you lurk these forums as pseudo-suicidal?

Just food for thought, respect.

Credit cards, credit for in-store items, dud cheques, bank loans. You could say the businesses profits were harmed, it was all big banks. Not the proudest times of my life.

Don't mean to encourage you, but ripping off banks seems a very honourable occupation to me. Too bad you got caught. :hihi:

PS: Glad you're out of that mess though.

Thanks.
I forgot to mention as well as giving back my cash to the bank, i'd accrued a 1988 red Porsche 911 and a new Honda Fireblade motorbike with my ill gotten gains which were worth a bit. I sold both of these and some electrical items to add to the amount I repaid the bank. It didn't cover everything i owed but it covered a large chunk of it.

So I ended up with absolutely nothing at the end lol, complete waste of time but at least i didn't get a criminal record. I must admit I did get a 'buzz' out of it, I had piles of cash and was cruising around with friends for a few months in a 911 (I was only 21). btw I'm not condoning any of this, doing this risks getting into serious trouble. I was just very stupid at this time in my life and getting arrested/locked up (even though it was only 1 day) learnt me a lesson.

I'm a midwife (the irony of me bringing new life into the world and wanting to ctb)

I have often thought about what this must feel like...
I am a retired librarian. I got my masters in library science sometime ago. I also worked as a cataloger and archivist in a museum.

My dream job (librarian). My first job was shelving library books at my local library. The head librarian and I had an agreement that if I finished shelving all of my books before the end of my 2-hour shift, I could spend the rest of the time reading. This act of kindness embolden my love of reading and learning.

When pursuing my masters, I considered an MLS. But, the profession is evolving with a lot of technological demands which is unappealing to me.

Bring back the card catalog, I say. The days when libraries were quiet and peaceful.

And archival work is equally as fascinating!!
