Last dream you remember?

I haven't dreamt in a while. Yesterday I dreamt about my ex husband (who's dead) screaming at me and trying to hit me. (Which he always did when he was alive). In the dream I was laughing and thinking "this is not real he's dead he can't do this" then he came too close and when he almost touched me I woke up. I was smiling and thinking "fuck you mind"

Hi that sounds scary. I've been writing mine down more recently and then transferring to an app that helps to keep note of keywords / nightmares / signs that recur. Fascinating to write and look at dreams, I have resolved a few personal issues that way. How are you feeling now?

I had a dream where one of my oldest friends died. It was sad to see all his loved ones adapting to the new situation.

Some context from real life: the friend and I live in the same city now, and even though we don't see each other, we had a party with a mutual friend two weeks ago. There, we were listening to music and talked about one band we were listening to. My friend said he listened to that band a lot when his parents divorced, and a realisation hit me like a truck. They have struggles too. I've been so withdrawn for the last five years – hell, since I made my first friend – that I haven't thought of their feelings at all.

That was something I feel made me dream that dream. I don't know.

I don't dream often, but when I do, they're usually what-if scenarios. What if I I hadn't given up my program in Uni? Maybe I'd have graduated by now. Married the one I love. Had a job, been financially successful. Then I woke up. It was wistful and bitter afterwards. I think I prefer not dreaming.

I have really weird dreams sometimes and they are hard to remember. They get mixed up and really weird at times. The last one i remember part of it where this blond woman was about to get married and the husband went down on one knee and proposed but she refused because he owned her a chicken pot pie(none of this makes sense, i think I was just hungry when I went to bed) So he gets her the food but she refuses again because she actually wanted three so she leaves with her daughter who was apparently there the whole time? Then I woke up. The end

i didn't usually dream, but since starting on sertraline I had these extreme lucid dreams, that I can't even tell apart from reality, to a point that sometimes I believe something actually happened when in fact it didn't.

two nights ago I dreamed that I was in cabin suspended on the ocean, my father, one of my brothers, a friend and some other people I can't remember where up there as well. I don't know what we were doing there, but it seems like we were supposed to watch out for something. at some point, my friend and her twin brother started to fight, and somehow the support that was holding on the cabin was damaged. the cabin started to fall, I felt like I was falling, could feel the wind against my skin, the touch of the hard wood floor, the twirl in my stomach, my heart frequency rising, and trough the window I saw the sky, the most beautiful paint I had ever seen. it was purple with some blue and pink spots, you could see the milky way, the starts were bright, and so close as if you could touch them. and then the cold water hit my skin. the thing is, while falling I didn't feel afraid, I didn't try to do something and scape, I felt calm, as if nothing could do me harm, as if I was ethereal. somehow the cabin was dragged by the water and I saw many sea creatures on high extreme details, with bright colours I could never even imagine.

I know it's surreal, and not a bad dream, but I don't know, wanted to share it with someone. somehow this dream filled me with a little bit o joy

Never tried to document my dreams. Sounds like something that would cause me more anxiety. I have suppressed many issues in my subconscious, I imagine they would all manifest in dreams if I started to think more about it. I'm feeling better thanks for asking. Sometimes I dream about particular past incidents in high school but with me reacting in a different way. I'm 26 and I still dream about math class in high school and my teacher.

Thank you for asking, but there's a lot of stress here. Sleep deprivation for years that could have easily been solved by the council landlord. After using the worst company imaginable they have refused to fix a plumbing fault in the pipes which causes a nasty whistling 24/7. Headaches, tempers, ot much calm here. We try but its a struggle

There's a vibration through my bed all night each night. Im having panic attacks when i should be relaxing. Often not asleep until its daylight again. Body clock is screwed and im always feeling like shit. Which brought me here.
Nobody should be expected to live like this. We have in writing "i think it's important that you manage your expectations " .. when we wrote in July 2018 asking, after a few months of this, for them to hurry and help us soon. Bastards. Their mentally is " Im alright jack, screw you, you'll get no sleep." They're sick bastards. Legal action soon. Let's see how fast they plead for out of court settlement (hush money in other words).

I don't usually remember dreams but last week I dreamed a bad guy had broken into my house. We were in the entry hall just inside the front door. I had a pump action rifle pointed at him, he grabbed the end of the barrel, I was holding onto the underneath part. His pulling caused the rifle to cock, it went off and killed him. I thought, in the dream, OMG! I didn't mean to do that, he did it by trying to take the gun away. What would I tell the cops? I was shocked and upset. Woke up.

Know that for the past two months I have been taking shooting lessons for home defense with pistols. I do not own a long gun.

My dreams are usually relevant to something going on in real life.

I'm on the fifth day of my brain repeatedly spitting out dreams about the people in my life, that I really have a positive-to-neutral relationship with, hating me and wanting to hurt me in various ways. Today my roommate tried to murder me in my dream, and I even knew why but that part of the dream slipped out of my memory when I woke up. One of my best friends and I were about to eat dinner. There were two other people at the table, but I never really saw who they were. Anyway, we were all just sitting there with bowls of salad, and nobody was talking or eating. I was confused and was trying to figure out what was going on but didnt want to ask. Then my friend dramatically sighed and started eating. And everyone else relaxed and ate too. I was relieved but also kind of mad at her. Apparently it was her turn to poison the salad and she chose not to do it. LOL

Somehow I suddenly knew we basically had a deal where we'd get together, and one of us would prepare food. And the cook was supposed to poison everyone's meal or not, but it was a secret until it was too late. You know, food Russian roulette basically. Freaking weird but also kind of funny.

A few nights ago I dreamed I got back with my ex. We were kissing when he put his hand around my neck and whispered "you know that deep down you're nothing, don't you?"

Not in a threatening way. It was like he was expecting me to be turned on by it, which surprised me. I said no, I don't feel that way and never have. He replied with something to the effect of "everyone says that but then they get upset over stupid meaningless things like their dolls breaking [referencing a doll that I broke earlier in the dream]".

I remained firm, he broke down and said "we can't be together then, because I'm evil."

I went into reassurance mode, told him I didn't think he was evil. He sort of regained composure, "okay I'm not evil evil but I'm definitely not good."

I turned to leave and he followed me from a distance, then I woke up.

The weird part was I almost said yes, not because I believe it to be true, but because in the dream I thought it was a reasonable sacrifice for "love". Which upon waking was insane.

I actually had a dream about her last night. In my dream, I messaged her as a follow-up to check how she was doing and to see if she still stood by her decision. I told her about all the deliberation and overthinking that I did to convince me that I don't want children anymore so I could be with her. All she said was wow and then she agreed to take me back so things seemed to be going great.

The dream skips forward like two years and she gets into a fatal car accident. Like goddamn, even in my dreams I can't be happy. Also she was pregnant when she was in the car accident which shouldn't be physically possible. That was when I started to realize it was a dream so I woke up pretty pissed off.

I had a dream last night that I was on a small rowing boat among some islands that had, for some reason, broke away from the mainland of this fantasy country that I was looking at on a map. In my dreams, I always assume both the role of actor and director, but the perspective is mostly from the directors angle. I watched myself fall off this boat into frozen waters and then my friend, whom wasn't identifiable with anyone that I know, jumped in after me to rescue me. There were seals and it was cold. We both died and my friends father was left in the boat by himself, processing his sons and my death.

A few nights ago I dreamt that I was fishing for sardines on a giant salt lake. I knew it was salt, because the tide was forming giant banks of white salt. It made me think of Lake Superior in winter. The water was crystal clear and there were worms and other things that I was uncomfortable with, but braving to fish for these sardines.
