Hi,
I'm doing my masters project in forensics and analytical chemistry next acedemic year (so like october I'll probably be assigned a project). My work so far has mostly been about industrial process analysis and crime scene stuff, so I have limited knowledge on like what lab stuff can be a peaceful CTB method. I don't get to fully pick my project, I have to pick preferences in a range of options and then they assign me one, so I was wondering if anyone knew any lab based chemicals (maybe like common solvents or synthetic materials) which they might know to potentially be peaceful/painless . This way I can research my options againts what projects they offer.

Most risk assessments just tell you what not to ingest/inhale/get on skin and hazards, but not like how painful it is if this advice is ignored. I can do more research based on suggestions but don't even know where to start.

I saw alot of stuff on so called "research chemicals" but I don't think that's what I would get access too, they all look like medical stuff to me? But maybe I just haven't done my
research.

I know SN, I'm gonna start looking into experiements that might use it. I'll get back to you if I find anything. Sorry if this is a waste of anyones time.

Thanks.
Any help would be great!
