Help Killing myself tonight

The title. I'm ending it tonight, just wanna make sure everything is right. I'm using nylon rope, about a meter long. Tying it to a door knob and a slipknot on the other end. I'll put my head, block my carotid arteries and hopefully pass out in a minute and let gravity do the rest. Is there anything I should be careful about? Anything is appreciated, thanks.
