What do think about these things? Im not religious but I am very spiritual. I am obsessed with the work of Delores Cannon, Michael Newton and Robert Schwartz where they put people into a deep state of hypnosis where they can essentially interview their souls and understand why they were here and what sort of lessons their souls wanted to learn by coming to the school that is earth.

Some things I resonate with, others I don't. Delores Cannon and Michael Newton assert that if you commit suicide, you are aborting your soul's missionary and then you will have to reincarnate again to learn those ssme hard lessons. I appreciate Robert Schwartz' perspective more. He said that you can leave if you want to, you will be met with compassion on the other side, but you may feel disappointed in yourself. However, you can choose to make things easier in the next life.

One thing that helps me is thinking that maybe I have a mission here and there is meaning in my struggle, that it is somehow helping my soul evolve.

i think your higher self decide which way will benefit itself (which is you) then it decides where to put itself , it can be earth or another place. it learns lessons and then reunites. so they dont care it you ctb, you cant die.i guess they will just put you again in other place so idk.
after you learn all your lessons it will kill you anyway unless you extend it

Dude. Finally the spiritual people come out of hiding lol. This is the area I'm obsessed with because I'm passively suicidal since my teens and just turned 30. I've been binging spiritual content the last 3 or so years when I've gone back and forth between atheist and spiritual.

I agree with you. This thing about aborting the mission and going back into a life this difficult that most people wouldn't survive drove me crazy. Thats beyond sick if that's how it works. I like the Rob Schwartz perspective on being met with compassion too, a really cool medium I like also shares this perspective.

I like your questions and I hope they keep coming

I think science can answer the question "what am I", and psychology can answer the question "who am I"

I think spirituality, what ever flavour resonates with you, is important to answer the question "why am i"

I'm not familiar with those athors, would you feel comfortable sharing a little bit more on their world view

Something I have been struggling with is I don't know how to turn my pain into purpose anymore

I'm happy you have found an outlet for it. Warms my heart

There's a great quote from bojack horseman ... let me share it

Yes! Its was the first one I read that led me to discover past lives/life between lives. I would really love to get a n life between lives regression, I feel like it could maybe give me the answers I havw been searching for, to find the greater purpose and maybe make living easier

Oh yay! Im glad I found my people! Im so sorry youve felt that way for so long. I can relate, also felt the same since my teen years. What got you into all of this? Was it the fact that you were suicidal?what medium is that?

Thank you! 😊

I really like that

I'm not familiar with those athors, would you feel comfortable sharing a little bit more on their world view they are part of the new age spirituality movement. They are both well known for their work on past life and life between life regression hypnosis. They both have some pretty radical ideas on what happens when you die. Delores Cannon however also speaks of aliens, other dimensions and conspiracy theory type stuff too and Her works are probably the most radical. I can get behind some of it but I am most interested to know about our soul's purpose
Something I have been struggling with is I don't know how to turn my pain into purpose anymore. Damn, its not easy when life feels really hard. You've mentioned before that your life circumstances seem okay on paper, so is it that you just feel like you are fighting with your own mind?

I'm happy you have found an outlet for it. Warms my heart I appreciate it. It has been a source of strength in times of struggle since I found it, but of course I still Waffle on what I want to do with this life, but I do feel like I have "extra support" if I decide I want to stay, and I ask for it.

"That means that all the damage I got isn't 'good damage'. It's just damage. I have gotten nothing out of it and all those years I was miserable was for nothing" - Diane Ha that was a fun show. In terms of therapy, I think pushing the resilience narrative to people who have had trauma can be harmful unless rhey already hold it in some way or form, it doesnt excuse the trauma. However, if we want to look at it from a spiritual perspective, what seems to happen is that we are supposed to learn from duality. If we came here to learn something specific, we are put into situations that cause us to experience the opposite. That is the challenge we are meant to overcome. Im still figuring hoe to flip the script in my own life!

I meant that it's not so easy to find spiritual people here. They may be lurking in the shadows. I haven't seen a spiritual post here for a while.

Yes, the fact that I was born with anhedonia/no interest in this human stuff and have felt more like an observer my whole life got me into this. I didn't want to live like this anymore. His name is Shawn Leonard.
