just told therapist im suicidal, guilt hitting hard

guilt and shame of losing to my suicidal ideation, extremely sure I will suicide. sad and guilty about how it will hurt my family, can't believe that I'm this broken.

I hope you don't suffer more by being locked in a psych ward, to me it sounds like such a terrible idea opening up about wanting to die in this world where people refuse to accept suicide as being a logical option.
