Just purchased a gun that i will be using to put a bullet in my head in the days to come. This decision is not one i just decided to do, this is years in the making and i am finally at the point i am tired soooo tired. I am in the USA where guns and school shooters run ramped. I have to put an end to myself. Now i am having suicidal/homicidal thoughts and i do not want to hurt anyone but this world and its government with its need for control is really pissing me off. All i need now is an once of courage to pull the trigger but shockingly i am not afraid of death. I will keep this updated. This is a bit of a vent in a way to release my thoughts. If anyone reads this thanks for taking the time out of your day to do so, :} and i hope you also find peace.

May you find peace as well.
I wish i had been born in the USA, where you can just buy a gun anywhere.
I would have killed myself a loooong time ago.

It must be relief to feel that you finally have control and the ability to exit on your own terms. I felt a sense of liberation, calmness, and peace many years ago when I legally acquired my firearm. I finally felt I had the ability to actually face challenges that I would never have faced and while I'm in a different boat now currently (unfortunately), I will hope that I myself will be able to get what I need when my time comes.

Anyways, I wish you the best and hope the interim will be as calm and peaceful as it can be for you.

Don't hurt anyone else on your way out bro, that shit is beyond fucked.

If you choose to end your earthly existence with said firearm then I hope it is swift and you do not suffer.

As a non American it kind of amuses me how cheap guns actually are. I think if I were American I'd have a whole armoury in my house 😂

I got a cheap long rifle that shoots 9MM. Guns are pretty cheap here depends on what you get but you can get a powerful long rifle aka AR-15 a school shooters fav pick for around $600

That's a pretty entrenched myth. Many in the U.S. cannot easily obtain guns, otherwise the threads here would be full of questions from interested foreigners about suicide tourism to the land of easy guns!

Move to Canada. Little to no gun violence there. No school shootings. Better place to be in my opinion. If you can, sometimes it's good to change your perspective on things. I was in a horrible place a few years ago. Girlfriend and I split, and I was not doing well. I removed myself from the situation, and did things that made me happy. Reading, listing to 80s music (I know it might seem stupid but it's true), and gardening. It got better. I'm doing better. People improve. Things improve. Though this is just my perspective, and I don't want to pressure you at all.

I have friends that still live in the US and they're only there for school, but there are some states that are safer than others. Maybe move to Alaska, less people, less confrontation with life. I don't know, but I feel like even though we were put on this earth against our own will, we can still make a life out of it.

You're the one who posted the gun range rental thread. You didn't update it and I figured you had went along with it. What happened?

Trust me, I have tried a ton of things to try and improve my life and yes things have improved. The depression and suicidal thoughts never
go away though and I refuse to shove pills down my throat for the rest of my life to feel a fraction of relief.

Meds aren't for everyone, I know that. But that's not what I'm suggesting. Pick up your life and go somewhere else. Sell all your possessions if you have nothing to live for. and find some other place and try again. It might go away. That's worth it. The chance. Much love to you

it's pretty easy to get a gun in most states if you don't have a criminal background or history of mental health. Obviously that isn't the case for non-citizens so I don't know where this suicide tourism idea comes from?

380 is a little weak, Hi Point make a 10mm version of that gun which I personally would have went with, but I digress. It should do the job.
Buy some JHP (jacketed hollow point) bullets and aim for the brainstem, there's a firearms megathread somewhere around here that has a diagram showing where that is.

The person I responded to said "I wish i had been born in the USA, where you can just buy a gun anywhere." and many people believe that idea. It's obviously wrong, even going by your own statement.

My point about suicide tourism was, that it would exist with foreigners if America truly was a place like many people believe it to be: a country where pretty much anyone could easily obtain guns.

It must be a relief having the option of a way to leave this world, I wish you the best and I hope that when the time is right for you to leave you find the freedom that you are searching for.

Suicide tourism isn't so easy. You still have to pass a background check and have ID showing you live in the state where you are buying the gun. You can't (legally) buy a gun if you're a foreigner.
