Especially since it is made up bullshit to control the masses
I used to think it was just an artifact of history, but I realised that there is a large component of religiosity that is just innate to certain brains. Some brains just move toward it like our brains move to suicide. My mother was one of 7 children and she was the only one who became religious, for some reason. This innateness doesn't suddenly make theism the correct position, though. Oh and yeah, there's no chance I'm respecting/worshipping god if he ever shows up, given the torment he's subjected us to. Also, it's suspicious to me, how I can't find any religious people who are willing to question god's doing (they all presume he is perfect and can do no wrong

). It seems to be part of the religious package, to defend all of gods (mis)deeds.
