Hello Guys
So I just ordered a bunch of stuff for the Inert Gas Method. I went by the protocol and advice in first 3 potsts of this thread:
sanctioned-suicide.net
1. Inert Gas + reductor + flowmeter
I went for Argon 8L at 200bar, which makes 1600 L of gas. It should be enough. At first I wanted to buy Nitrogen, but Nitrogen was offered only with gas pressure reductors, not with flowmeter. Flowmeter is crucial, because I need to set the gas flow at 15L/min
2. Oven Roasting Bags. I couldn't find anything for turkey (lol) but I guess they are enough - my head has to fit inside.
One question here - do the black plastic things can replace the drawcord? I mean they are for adjusting the bag, right?|
3. Micropore tape - I purchased two types, I think they will stick to the bags with no problem?
4. Elastic drawcord - I think this is ok?
So that's it - please advice if it the products above are suitable for the method. I am still missing the hose - I am searching for "argon hose" but I guess hose can be universal/generic, just need to fit tightly on the reductor (btw. do you just tape it on, or do you buy hose with thread, and wrench it?) it's critical because it needs to fit super tight, otherwise the gas will leak.
And to install drawcord on the bag, do you punch the bag using office puncher?
If you have any advice, or photos please share. I am mostly interested on how to install hose onto reductor, and how to make the oven bag tight using elastic hose.
Thanks!
EDIT:
I see that connection between the reductor output and hose is very tricky.
I am going for:
Output of reductor is thread M12x15 --> adapter from M12 to 6mm (photo below) and then 6mmLPG gas hose. On top of the hose, metal "snail clamp" also with photo below. Guess I just need to prepare the exit bag and I am ready, or did I forget anything?
Also do you guys recommend any drugs for inert gas method? I think benzos (low dose) can be helpful to prevent some anxiety but after the bag is on, unconsciousness comes so fast, that there likely won't be any fight or flight response, right?

Exit bag and inert gas megathread
Exit Bag and Inert Gas Basics —A very, very long post, I know, but I feel like I've fielded a lot of questions about this, so I figured I'd spell out everything I know. Others on the forum should please add to this thread whatever reliable technical information they feel is appropriate for...
