But just because you want to live doesn't mean everyone else wants to.
The difference is we respect everyone's individual autonomy, actually listening to people and the wishes that they express. While pro-lifers simply can't imagine that anyone could possibly have different opinions to themselves, trying to enforce their ideas of what they believe is right onto everyone else and assume that if anyone dare deviates from these thoughts then, well, there must be something wrong, clearly! Surely someone couldn't think differently from them, right?
It makes me sick how unempathetic that are, not even attempting to understand anything that goes against their beliefs. We trust people, while they literally believe everyone that doesn't think like them are morons. It disgusts me.
