They are on thier phone on the other couch. They said that they are getting their feelings out and I think that I am just being clingy but I wish they would sit next to me.

Jesus I know the feeling, it hurts so bad to be so physically close and so emotionally distant, my ex used to let me lay on his chest while he was smoking in bed and gambling on his phone, it sucks, im sorry

I feel that so much. I love getting physically close with literally everyone I know and it hurts when they don't reciprocate. And when you ask about it, they say they aren't comfortable.
