Yes. Just nearby to my apartment had been plenty of successful suicides with people jumping from the 6th or the 8th floor. This is reassuring to me.

Almost certainly yes, provided that you land on a hard surface such as concrete. I knew someone who died that way.
If you do use that method, please look before you jump, to make sure there is nobody below you. If you land on someone you could injure them badly, or even kill you. (And they mght break your fall too.)

I've seen articles about people dying from as low as a 3 story building. You will almost certainly die from that. However I can't tell you if you will die on impact or be in excruciating pain for a short period of time before dying.
