Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

would a five-story jump be enough to kill a person? i live in a five-story apartment building and want to ctb by jumping off of the rooftop onto the lowest point of the pavement below. assuming a car doesn't come by while i'm jumping, could this kill me?

It should be OK, but I don't recommend it. I live in a building which is around 30 feet in height. Many times have I thought about jumping off the top. However, I feel like it might not be enough. Hence, I'm considering other options and I'm gonna spend time with you guys til i find one.

You might die, but you are quite likely to end up alive but badly injured.
People have occasionally died after falling 6 feet from a ladder, and people have occasionally survived falls from thousands of feet when their parachute didn't open, so there is no fixed height that is guaranteed to kill you. However, a good rule of thumb is that if you have an uninterrupted fall of 100 feet or more, and land on a hard surface such as concrete, your chance of surviving is very small.
Could kill you but it's a basically a coin flip on whether you die or suffer even more greatly as you can't garenteed to land on your head or at least back as you don't have much control in the air. I would suggest to at least jump from the 10th floor.

Jumping is not suggested to be the best method of ctb because the human body is resilient and can decide to recover itself, and you could en up worse off than you were before if it does not work out, not to discourage, but do more research on it to be sure you won't end up crippled instead of in peace

I looked into this as well. Saw a hotel in my hometown that is has rooms with balcony up to 24 stories up. I think the likelihood of surviving that is slim to none. Having to overcome the SI would be the major issue. But being that it is difficult to a hold of a firearm in the place a I live and all the difficulties I have been reading on getting SN, it seems like the quickest, most reliable option. Thoughts?

Jumping is certainly one of the easiest available options. However, I've heard crazy stories of people surviving. Sometimes you can fall from short heights like 25 feet and die. Or even less. Sometimes you could fall hundreds of feet and survive.

Yeah I agree it's not 100 percent but nothing is. But just looking at the odds from that height and landing on a hard surface, they are definitely in your favor.
I've read a lot about this method and after what I've read, 5th floor isn't high enough to make sure you will die. Usually people here recommended about 12-15 stories.
