If I were to jump off of the tallest bridge in my state (it is 239 ft tall) & land in the river below, how painful do you think it would be? would there be any chance for survival?
It is technically a part of a busy highway, so I'm thinking I should drive there in the middle of the night, pull off the side of the road, walk to desired point, & jump. I don't know if it would be better to land in the water or not.
This particular bridge has had previous successful suicides… the only thing keeping me is that when my body is inevitably found, I don't want my family to have to identify my body. i know someone close to me has had to do that before with someone who has committed suicide and she gets ptsd from it every day. She can't even look at a tree without thinking of her step dad hanging from it.
I don't want to do that to my family, im thinking if I just leave a note and all of my information in my car, hopefully that will be enough.. I don't know. Any input would be greatly appreciated, though. I hope you all have had an ok day and thank you for your time.
