Usually head first is the way people die. Feet in first is how you end up surviving but with severe injuries. I dont know what's a good height though. It's a scary method.

15 floors is quite good if you landing on ground. 5 floors is above the recommended minimum height.

That height is in the advised range. Some factors to consider, the landing surface (firm pavement is better than grass), possible obstructions (awnings over windows, architecture, cars, pedestrians), as mentioned jumping orientation (I have heard of people practicing in hobbies like diving).

Recently a user here mentioned the idea of jumping with eye covering and earplugs. I find this interesting as it may help with SI, which is the primary difficulty in jumping. Although a major downside would be orienting yourself and avoiding obstacles would be difficult.

Many here consider jumping (myself included), but follow through is rare. Considering ideas of addressing SI seems important.

You go to a swimming pool and take diving classes.
Alternatively skydiving will also teach you how to fall head first.

I wonder if anyone among suicidal jumpers ever used some mini-parachutes attached to the legs, so that the difference between air resistance at the legs and at the remaining body parts rotated the person upside down without applying any additional effort.

Wow I really liked the idea so I tried to generate this image with ai. The AI however cant think of how this looks 🙈

Before I had quite an unsophisticated idea of jumping from a height holding a very heavy object in hopes of it dragging me down head first. I am still unsure if physics allows it though.

How do i land on my head
I have seen online the people, they sit on a railing, backside turned ''outward'', then fall back hoping to land on the back of the head where the brain is. I suppose that way could help with not being stopped every time you look down from above too.

I am unsure if that seriously works nor am I exactly a ''professional suicide jumper'', so don't take my word for it please. But that's how I would do it as someone who only has that method in reach of myself.

(Repost because I've forgotten to quote you in my reply, apologies).
