Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

according to google most people die from a fall of 50 feet but that feels way too short :/
is a jump from 530 feet guaranteed to kill me, and does anybody know what the security is like at beachy head?

I did read that they have chaplains and volunteers patrolling the area, but not much they could do - they don't have any powers to forcibly / physically stop you.
It's quite a drive for me. Otherwise i could join you. I'm not well and live with parents and I'm slightly on suicide watch so don't think I'd get away with driving there. If it was near to me it would be up there on my options for exit
There is no security. There are a few chaplains who can't cover the whole area at the same time because it's a good stretch.
There is one particular spot that's recommended because it's a sheer drop. If you pick the wrong spot you could land on a ledge and survive.
At least one guy survived the jump and is now in a wheelchair.
It really is a beautiful spot, that whole part of the coast, used to be mine and my wife's favourite walk, I am terrified of heights so wouldn't be for me unfortunately as it's only 20 mins from me

Sounds shocking, jumping is my preferred method but I would make sure I get a steep edge and be 100% convinced that it would end me. Can't have the humiliation of a failed attempt going so badly wrong.
Seeing one of these people might act as an impulse driver and make you more prone to following through too

I was just watching some videos on youtube about the area - certainly looks pretty high. I've added it to my list!
I agree about the chaplains (and apparently the taxi drivers, bus drivers and local pub staff too) - it'd annoy the hell out of me if someone came up and wanted to talk. Wish people would mind their own sodding business.

Yeah it looks almost a certainty. Dover appeals more to me though. Also do you know how I can get access to direct messages? Do I need to get my score up a certain amount? Looking for partners

Just a word of caution re looking for a partner, please do be carefull of to whom you give any personal details or with whom you might arrange to meet.
Not everyone in any group is genuine.
Best wishes for getting satisfactory arrangements and finding rest.

There are 4 chaplains covering the entire area 24/7. They aren't allowed to touch you but they will try convince you not to do it and talk you down if your near the edge of the cliff.

Over 500ft. 6 seconds from top to bottom. It is the highest sheer drop chalk cliff in England. The highest sheer cliff is Great Hangman but that is not a vertical drop. 'Sheer' only means something like an angle greater than 60degrees.
No one has survived a fall from the top to the bottom of Beachy Head, except a dog.
trust me it is more than high enough, I don't think anyone has ever survived it from my research. You can't really get a sense of depth perception on that photo, this one is better but when you get there you'll know, it's scarily high. Was just showing how beautiful a spot it is to go out. If I wasn't terrified of heights I would 1000% go here, on a sunny day and fly. It's one of my favourite walks

I'm sure I read about a guy who survived with terrible injuries - I have been there a couple of times but I'd never have the confidence to jump. It's a very scary prospect

If there is any remaining evidence online I'd like to see it but when I started looking into beachy head, anything that first looked like a survival case later appeared to be them not dropping the full height. There was one story I saw of a badly injured man and at first I thought that was a survival case but it turned out he landed on a ledge, the headline was misleading and it took me a couple ,of reads to understand he hadn't fallen the full height.

I was stopped by a couple of the chaplains who got to me before I could even get out of my car. They were on patrol on their car. It was middle of the night. I told them I had come.away from the city to just have a quiet drive and to clear my head. They asked me to go back to their office and basically told me nicely that if I didn't comply, they will give the car registration number - I went to their office. They still called put the police who I managed to convince that I was not about to end my life. Got escorted out of the area by the police and advised not to return at night time.

They have a chaplaincy service up there that patrols day and night and local pub and taxi firms are on alert for anyone who looks suspicious. I have been stopped by the chaplains before simply for sitting in my car looking at the view. They are very observant.

If you fall 100 feet or more, and land on a hard surface, you have very little chance of survival. Beachy Head is not the only place along the south coast where the cliffs are high, so you have many options. Beachy Head is probably a popular place to ctb because it's so easy to get to by car, but anyone with two functioning legs can get anywhere along that coast. (Someone I was at college with in the 1970s, and liked a lot, died in an accidental fall somewhere there in 1979. RIP Brian C.)
