Discussion ive survived 12 overdoses and 1 hanging, exit bag is my last option.

im in the uk and overwhelmed with options in terms of different nitrogen suppliers and sizes of cylinders, buying from BOC isnt a option and other supliers have questionable feedback. the genie cylinders look great and simple but i cant afford them. im thinking a 9L tank of nitrogen will be enough? and the amount of adapters is confusing as fuck. im also confused why a 110L nitrogen canister from machine mart is so tiny when a 20L boc cylinder is massive? has anyone seen the clarke nitrogen from machine mart im talking about? it looks way too small can anyone tell me if it would be ok? because i can get the cylinder adapter and hose for under 100 pounds from machine mart but the cylinder is tiny

I don't know about thise. Can't we just put a bag on our heads with duct tape? They warn babies not to suffocate on some bags for a reason? Do we really need gas exchange? I thought wearing a hat to keep the bag away from my mouth might be enough? Teach me thanks

oh and it was full suspension with a leather belt a fully blacked out but at some point the belt snapped and i woke up on the floor

Gas didn't work for me, I wouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. If it fails remember you'll need a way to get rid of the gas bottle if you give up with it

do you know why it didnt work? i know that if you have the right amount of nitrogen and follow the exit international steps its almost 100% certain death

I did not find this to be the case. I felt like I was suffocating and ripped it off every time

that means you either didnt exhale all the oxygen from your lungs before putting the hood on or you didnt have enough pressure coming out the hose, were you using nitrogen? if done correctly your body has no idea, if you felt like you were suffocating there wasnt enough gas in the bag or there was to much much oxygen in your lungs. can you tell me what size tank you used and what gas if you dont mind?

Did you recover ok after you woke up or was there damage done from the hanging?

gas supplier e-shop always has an assay on their products which indicates purity of a gas in %, uncompressed volume of a gas in cubic meters, and volume of compressed gas, that is those confusing 9L that contradicting mass of theirs canisters. also i would suggest to look on site product assay for weight of a gas in cylinder as: 1 cubic meter of Nitrogen gas weighs 1.251 kilograms. so you can easily calculate volume of uncompressed gas if this information has given.
as example: vendor stated that cylinder has 6.255kg of gas inside, divide it on 1.251 and you get a total volume of gas uncompressed which in this case equals 5m^3 then convert cubic meters in liters: 5000. further divide it on flow rate per minute adjusted on your pressure regulator let's it be 15L/min. 5000/15=333 minutes. it's time until all gas escaped as soon as you turned valve. concerning pressure regulator, there's difference only in quality of product and differences in types of theirs mechanisms, they all do the same job and allow to adjust flow rate. however you need look for specific pressure regulators made specially for nitrogen cylinders.

i was suprisingly ok, infact i felt so blissed out my brain had clearly released all my DMT and pre death chemicals because i felt more at peace for the following hours than i ever had. i had a very sore throat but suprisingly no brusing just a little red.

I did read the title. Overdoses have probably the lowest success rate. Trying that 12 times failed. But i wonder if you'd have succeded if you had tried 12 hangings. Not suggesting but hoping that I can make it right the 1rst time... Shit no belt then. Seems to work for partial ganging though... Crap my bag idea would fail... How about I roughly wrap my hands in rope behing my back, without tying just messy wrapping, then lie on my back? Auto erotic adphyxiation sounds funnier though. Jumping probably fails less but scary stuff

I did remove the oxygen from my lungs best I could, and I'm quite certain the flow rate was fine. It was Argon. I think it was 9L
