  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm not asking for a contradiction to this, it's just a sad reality. I can't wait to die, this is literally the gift I long for the most now. I won't ever achieve what I wanted to do in life and the pain this leaves me in is unbearable. I just so desperately pray for me to go in my sleep, I despise every single day. To be so horribly miserable physically and mentally every day no Matter where you are or what you do is a pain no one deserves. I can't find peace in being alive anymore.

I was told I was to much of a coward to take my own life, I admit I only haven't because I don't have a gun or a pill strong enough to do it and for a painless/relatively painless sensation to accompany it.

I am looking forward to death as well, the thing that I want the most is to fall into an eternal sleep. Everything is hopeless for me as well. Life really is a terrible thing, I mean we were all perfectly fine not existing until we were forced into this world. I'm sorry you are suffering. It is not cowardly, feeling as if you cannot leave this world, the SI is hard to overcome as we are programmed to survive. Anyone who says things like that is really insensitive. I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

My feelings, too. Do you find it unbearably hypocritical that the same society that labels us "useless" because we aren't making tons of money or doing things that gratify others is the same society that votes to make it much harder for us to die? I read a lot of online therapists writing that they're advocating for the good people--the young people who have lots of promise (read "can still become laborers to benefit the rest of us") or families with enough money to pay for their ... treatment. These professionals guilt us into feeling if we leave, it would be catastrophic for others. So why can't those of us who have no others and who're useless to society be allowed a painless, peaceful way out? And if they think it's immoral to help (physician assisted suicide), then why not let us "losers" get information and the means freely? Why confiscate our supplies? Why threaten us with imprisonment just for trying to get out when they don't even want us here?

Society likes us to pay taxes. I get why family and friends might want those wishing to die to stay around, because it will hurt them in ways we won't know about. But I think if you love someone like we do with dogs when they are in pain is we let their suffering end

Yes, we're property of the State. And society is hypocritical because we'll euthanize pets in pain but we'll demand humans suffering chronically keep ploughing through to the bitter end.

All society care about is that we somehow spend money to consume resources that's one of the main point,
Whether we are helping society in any way doesn't matter as much as long as we are constantly unwillingly playing it's game in some way or another, the problem with allowing people it consider "useless" to exit peacefully would open up a can of worms because human society is full of those so called useless humans who only exist to consume and buy goods if they leave the remaining will start doubting their existence too and its not like hierarchy will disappear another form of useless humans will emerge, because human needs some form of group to be always beneath some other group for their societys to function and the cycle will only continue
And also our masters up in the high office's, are quite sadistic assholes they won't find the world much fun when there's not many humans lower than them in status in around them for them to torment and play with.
