  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've decided to use a 40 ft^3 container, and a flow rate of 15 liters/minute. 40 ft^3 ~ 1132 liters. At a flow rate of 15 liters/minute: I'll have ~75 minutes of gas flow, which will be more than enough to test the setup, then make my exit from this world. My plan is to book a hotel on July 16th, and use my exit mask there. My cylinder will be carried in a backpack, and here's a link to a webpage from exitinternational.net which may recommend 15 liters/minute as the ideal flow rate https://www.exitinternational.net/research/gas-flow-control-kits/

A 40 cu ft in a backpack? That's one big backpack. I like the idea that you've chosen a 40cf size, though. Better to have (a little) too much than not enough.

Hood, mask, or bag?

I'll use a mask. I decided to use 40 ft^3, because I know that I don't have enough gas: I'll wake up with brain damage, due to the oxygen deprivation. Such a scenario would make my situation far worse than it already is, so I realized that it's better to be safe and have excess gas, rather than to be sorry, be brain damaged, and fail my 2nd suicide attempt.
How have you connected the tube to the mask?
The mask should connect via the regulator that I'm using. I don't know if it's recommended to use an oxygen regulator for nitrogen gas. However: it's the only type of regulator that would potentially connect to my mask, and the only type of regulator that I could find that allows a flow rate of 15 liters/minute.

I've done a quick google search/chat-gpt inquiry concerning using an oxygen regulator for nitrogen and it seems to be a bad idea

"Oxygen and nitrogen are often used at different pressures and flow rates, and the regulators are tuned accordingly.
A regulator optimized for oxygen may not control nitrogen flow properly, leading to over- or under-pressurization."
