There's a lot of questions floating around regarding how to inject drugs like heroin or fentanyl. I thought a guide and a Megathread would help.
A word about sourcing:
If you are thinking of sourcing something that you want to inject to overdose on, you have options. You may:
- locate a dodgy dealer. There are many apps now to do this. Right now, SKOUT in Australia is one. Otherwise, head to your local dodgy area in dodgy attire and just ask around. I was once chasing heroin in business attire, and everyone thought I was an undercover cop. Don't carry any bags, just the cash you need and your phone. The best drug deal I had was with a guy in a Mercedes. I got in the car but left the door open, and bought enough heroin for a few of us. Be smart if you're going to do this. The areas around safe injecting rooms are often ignored when it comes to dealing
- the Dark Net Markets. You will need bitcoin or another cryptocurrency for this. This is quite a good option, as users verify the quality of their purchases.
Equipment:
So you're going to need needles. And water for practice. Go to a needle exchange and ask for needles. Some will ask a minimal charge (a couple of dollars) and others just hand them out. I used to get boxes of 100 at a time. Ask at the exchange if they have larger barrelled needles too, because depending on what you're injecting, the standard 1mL syringe might not be enough. Also ask for 'water for injection' if they have it. Otherwise, bottled is fine.
Alternatively, you can purchase these items on eBay. This means you have a bit more secrecy and choice. I would recommend 10mL syringes and 27 or 29 gauge needles, but you can go as large as 19.
The Process:
You need to find a nice vein or two to work with here. Tie off your arm above the elbow and pump your hand like you need a blood test. You can use anything to tie off your arm - just be prepared to be able to take or cut it off. Without seeing your arm, I can only guide so much. Slimmer people have easy veins in the crook of the elbow, whereas larger people (like me) have more success around the top of the hand and side of the wrist. Play around with this. You want a vein that immediately fills the syringe as soon as you pull back on the plunger. Have a go with some water and see how the blood flows into the liquid. Have a go at pushing the liquid in and feeling the temperature in your vein. Go slow, because you can go through and puncture the vein on the other side and miss the vein entirely - injecting liquid into the tissues hurts!
Work clean. Use alcohol swabs before and after. Bear in mind that if you die with a needle in your arm, people will make presumptions and it will raise questions. If you're writing a note, maybe explain that you aren't an addict but wanted to kill yourself in a humane way
