I stay at home all day because I am working on my agoraphobia. It is hard because it is so boring watching shows all day or being on my phone and I only have one hobby, crochet. I can't crochet all the time either because I am going off birthday and Christmas money throughout the year so I can't buy a lot of yarn.

It just sucks because it causes me to focus on myself and how I am doing a lot. I am not in a good place so I hate thinking about my life and I am becoming more suicidal. I get so bored and anxious and depressed throughout the day and it seems like I am never going to be better until I find hobbies and leave the house.

I also get lonely with no friends and my boyfriend/family not always being able to be there for me, I talked about it before. Loneliness is the worst feeling to me though because it is a terrible emptiness and longing for someone to be with me. I just want to be with my boyfriend and having a good time and honestly family can't replace friends so it's hard in that way too.

I don't know what I can do to find interests because it seems like everything costs money. I get bored with games quickly and the good games that you actually want to play cost money, sometimes they suck and you waste money too. I try reading but I don't have many good books either, they are mostly YA because I bought them when I was a kid.

I guess I'll try and play sims right now. I just get so bored with it and give up within in hour now. I have so many hours on it and idk what to do anymore except make sims and decorate houses.

Give me free ideas if you have them, I am open to anything except stuff that is outside obviously lol, I like walks in the forest but I can't even do that right now.

Drawing and writing fiction/making fictional universes ofany kind work for many people and cost pretty much nothing. You don't need fancy art supplies to do art, tbh any piece of paper and any pen/pencil laying around is enough and there are a bunch of more or less advanced tutorials on the internet. Personally it's what helped me a lot when I was feeling very lonely as a young teen. I know these are quite obvious though and very creativity-driven so might be hard to do when you feel bad for some people. From simpler things, maybe origami? If you're into crocheting, maybe you can also try knitting if you haven't already (it uses way less yarn).

You can try DIY'ing stuff, like making your own merch of things you like (patches, tees, etc) or just things you find fun and cool. A lot of people have their old gouache pallets since they were a kid or other stationary you can use, so it's not really expensive (but it depends on your situation of course). You can also personalise your clothing, I have my cheap messenger bag on which I always sew on patches and stuff.
I get bored with games quickly and the good games that you actually want to play cost money, sometimes they suck and you waste money too.
You can pirate games (if you're able to do so where you live), I think that's a great way to check a lot of games out. And if you find a game you really like, you purchase it on steam if you can.
I wouldn't call it a hobby, but I also like personalising my room (at least my desk and shelves above it...). You just collect stuff you love and that, in a way, characterises you and then you lay it out where you like. I also do something similar on my laptop, I like categorising my music and vlc libraries there. Or just listening to music there. It brings me joy

At least that's what I do. I don't know if it'll be of any use for you, but hope I helped a little

I've heard of some libraries doing delivery services for people who can't visit the library in person - have you looked at whether that exists in your area? Just a small thought, I realise it might not be that helpful.

Maybe you could also try doing home workouts?

In a similar vein to drawing/painting, you could also try creating your own films using whatever you have in your house? And edit them using free software.

There are also lots of free online courses out there on all kinds of topics. Maybe you could set yourself a challenge to learn something new every month or whatever?

Those are just some ideas 🙂 Feel free to disregard lol.

Now that you mention the library I remembered they have an app to read books online basically like a library so that could be good. Thank you

if there's any musical instrument you can afford you should definitely consider that. it helps your mental health in so many ways, it feels almost therapeutic

if you really like crocheting you could try learning how to sew if you don't know how to already!

another suggestion is drawing, you could make your own crotchet patterns

for the books you could find pdfs or free online libraries (ex; internet archive) that have your favorite books

you can find a bunch of good gameplay mods for ts4 + pirate it to where you can have whatever packs you want (basemental drugs is a good mod to start with)

You mentioned you play Sims, I'm guessing The Sims 4? Have you tried playing The Sims 2 and 3? They're much better games, and you can pirate them easily, you can find guides on reddit.

Also, have you played any of the Sims spin-offs? There are several, like The Sims Medieval (one of my fav), Sims Life Stories, Castaway Stories and Pet Stories.

There were also a lot of spin-offs of the Sims on consoles. My favorite is The Sims Urbz, it has a very unique aesthetic and amazing soundtrack. It's on the GameCube and PS2, but you can emulate it on your laptop easily.

And also, although someone else here already suggested you pirate games, I'll also suggest you try genres you've never tried before and expand your tastes. For example perhaps you would like RPGs? visual novels? In case you haven't tried them.

Also, perhaps you could like webcomics? And comics in general. There's an app called Webtoon which is a platform for comics and there's so much good stuff on there. There are some ads but in general is free. If you want I can recommend some comics from there.
