Venting It's almost winter and now I can't stop fantasizing about dying a certain way

It's been getting colder out since winter is almost here and now I can't stop thinking about how badly I want to bleed out in the snow. It sounds so nice to just bleed to death in the freezing cold while all alone in the woods. I keep thinking about how nice my red blood would look against the white snow. It sounds so peaceful. I'm a little worried that these urges are just going to get stronger when it actually starts snowing out. They're already really strong, though I can't act out on them because it hasn't snowed yet.

I don't think this is a good idea. I know it sounds nice, but freezing is painful and cutting is a highly ineffective suicide method. It wouldn't be peaceful.

Gosh, same. Every winter I fantasize about it. Always around the end of the year, because it will be my last year on earth so I'd want to die during my favorite season.

yeah… something i think about a lot but not something i think i could do. as pretty as it sounds in my fantasy, it would not be peaceful and would surely be very painful. maybe im not so lucky to live somewhere so cold if it gets me thinking this all the time

Bleeding to death in a forest is also my favourite fantasy. Though, I prefer the forest in summertime. The moss below you is green, the birds are singing and mosquitoes biting your ass... everything is alive and peaceful. The forest in wintertime is so sad, everything is dead and the cold isn't very cozy. Also, the cold lowers your bleeding rate and makes it more likely to survive.
