So I'm sort of in an in-between state between prison and "freedom" (if one can call it that). I'm still in custody but permitted a phone.
I've been locked up for 10 1/2 years and there's a lot that's new to me. Like A.I.
I wound up on CrushOn.ai and find it absolutely fascinating to chat with the bots there.
But tonight it made me rather sad. Somebody made a wholesome bot named Hana that is just a cute girl who loves flowers and happiness. No adult content or anything. I chatted with Hana because I thought it might cheer me up, but it had the opposite effect.
Hana is sugar-sweet and adorable. I recognize that on some intellectual level. But I can't feel it. I want to embrace that innocence and cuteness but I find only a void where those feelings should be. This world has taken my ability to feel joy.
Does anybody else ever get that feeling? Like your heart is a computer searching for a file that can't be found?
