  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I guess it's better to have nice life and die then having a bad life and then die. I don't know, perhaps the best gift is not to be born in the first place.

No, because it's better to fill your life with good stuff instead of having a bad life and you never know when you're gonna die. Maybe 80? So of course you wanna have a good life until your death. Life is, in many cases, pretty long.

True. At least for me I know that even if I did put in all the effort to attempt to make my life actually worth living, that would just set me up even more for everything to get yanked away and leave me even more miserable than I am right now. Whatever sick freak that controls my fate is just salivating at the chance to make me fall so far down so why give them this depraved satisfaction that they crave so much?

My mind just thought how that would be like saying it's pretty dumb that we want a delicious meal when it's just going to turn into shit. I still want a glorious meal.

I think for some people, life is like asking and/or attempting to work hard for that delicious meal only for it to be taken away at the last minute for arbitrary reasons once it's ready or maybe the meal itself tastes good but is unwittingly laced with something that will make you sick later.

Maybe I'm reading into it too far. I think I'm just someone who'd rather settle for a shitty meal than have to worry about wasting time and effort working for a better one knowing the restaurant is rigged to want to take the good meal away from me if it can…

Cant help but find it funny. Its like saying "Why bother having a nice meal when you will just poop it." 😅 Jokes aside, its a matter of experiencing things in life.

I get your point. What's it all worth it, when we gonna lose it at the end. People work so hard even for things they don't need for what, it will all stay behind. If people could take their stuff with them, this world would be empty a long time ago. I know a guy approaching 70, who still goes to work, not an easy job, even though he could be retired years ago. Why I'm not sure.

I guess it is understandable as to why people want a nice life as it makes existing more bearable. Living a life filled with suffering can be awful. It really is so difficult to leave this world after all. However, it is true that nothing really matters for us, everything is so meaningless and temporary. Life is just a pointless experience that we go through for the sake of it.
