I don't know how to really express it. It just feels very emotional and I guess it's a mix of both.

Like it goes from a slow (sorta) depressing or troubled tone to a glorifying (sorta) patriotic tone as it progresses making you feel like you've accomplished something.

I hear the song in two parts. The first is calming, not depressive; like a slow build-up that leads to the epic climax, the second part--similar to soundtracks I hear on movies with heroic storylines. Like acceptance of their fate and the courage to sacrifice their lives. So yup completely agree with the comment on YT.

I agree, what i like about it. Is everything.

But more importantly is the fact that someone random like you or me made it. Its not by a famous person, its made by a random joe. I like it more for that.

I feel the same way about a certain song, or maybe not this specifically because I could link a couple of songs to my death and how it makes me feel. but there's certainly one song I have that feels like a huge build up of anxiety and then a release and freedom.

This is my song that I feel similarly about. I have no idea what the song is supposed to mean or symbolise but I made up my own little meaning about it, it starts off like childlike bliss and fantasy and overstimulation. Then at 1:40 onwards it becomes a mash of noise which becomes more and more grating on the ears for almost a solid 2 minutes, until it breaks out into.. I don't know how to describe. The full release of built anxiety into this cute little tune, feels free... That's the part where I die.

I definitely suggest listening to it with volume up if you're able and don't skip the noisy part, it's the contrast of the transition that really gets me.
