I don't understand how there is three layer in his neck like which one's the adam apple here. And do you place it right below the adam apple(between second and third layer) or after the third layer.

Idk why the picture has three layers I can only feel two.

I meant like shown in the figure.
I placed it 1 finger below Adams apple and felt like it would work
