I never heard about a silver-cleaner method to CTB. But a 1:1 mix of sodium chloride (table salt) and sodium carbonate in warm water, put an aluminium foil into the solution and then put your silver in there for some time. Polish the silver.

I don't think that this is lethal at all.

Other ideas / ways how to clean silver?

Great now they're gonna outlaw silver polish
Wait what?
Even Silver polish are what people can use to ctb, this is a first for me to find out about.

This is from 2011 though but regardless, didn't know it was actual ctb method.

One of them mentions there is cyanide in the solution
yeah right and cyanide is very lethal that can kill immediately.

Sorry friend. You need the cyanide jewelry cleaner which has been banned in our country. If you do find some ring me up.
They don't say what it is exactly. Anyway it doesn't sound peaceful to me.
Those were serial cases in my country mostly accidental ingestion of cyanide jewelry polish that were sold without labels found nearly everywhere and for less than 1usd. 2 or 3 of those were suicide cases but mostly accidental ingestion by kids...
