I think yes. Suffering can bring wisdom. But we can also be prone to biases because many of our lives suck us. The negativity is strong but this is natural for a suicide forum.

Most of us are relatively young. But been through a lot.

What do you think?

I think there's naturally a mix. There's a lot of people here and the variety of experiences is immense. Some of us are crashing and burning, some of us are recovering, some of us are somewhere in between.

But everyone's experiences, thoughts, and feelings are valid. Everyone should be acknowleged and recognized, nobody should go unseen and unheard.

Definitely think so. Even though we all want to ctb, we come from so many different circumstances. Everyone here has their own unique situation and along with it their own perspectives

Wisdom? More like shoulda woulda coulda.
To be able to apply wisdom means you have future opportunities, which is a huge privilege.
Wisdom would be choosing a better life at the character selection screen if there was or will be one. Luck and charisma are the most important stats so be sure to max those out.

I think so, this is the only place that's (mostly) free of pro-lifers, who are privileged enough to not understand why someones only option to be at peace is to CTB. We all understand suffering, and how it effects a person, no matter their circumstances.

No more or less than any other website. There are smart people here, but then there are smart people on reddit. It doesn't necessarily follow that being depressed as fuck is a sign of sagacity, in fact the notion of suicidality acting as a badge of superiority is expressed too frequently imo, and it's horseshit.

Yeah, but I'm still questioning whether SaSu is worth my time. Reminds me of the question of which books to read. There are the good books, then are the great books, and then there are the best books. With how short life is, why bother with anything other than the best?

Nothing that I say is particularly that wise though. I mostly just spew out bullshit.

You know, I really need to work on not being so rude and mean though. I feel like sometimes my emotions get the best of me and other times I just say shit without thinking. I really don't like that about me. I wish I was able to be a bit more chill and laidback when responding to others instead of turning most of my conversations into straight-up arguments.

I wouldn't worry to much about that on here, so many of the people on here who appear so effortlessly *nice* are just bullshitting, I'd sooner read posts from an honest asshole than read posts from a twee phoney.

I guess you have a point. I do feel like a good amount of those posts are genuine though, at least in some capacity. Sometimes, I feel like I am aspiring to be this sort of "good" person who doesn't exist. I'm aware that people aren't really good or bad but are rather just a mosaic of good aspects, bad aspects, and everything in between, but I still sometimes wish that I could be this sort of "good girl". I'm sorry if this doesn't make that much sense. I'm high right now.

You could probably categorize all of my posts on here into three categories:
Shitposts, arguments/me being a bitch, and me being high

Many people here aren't wise but there are a few people here who are extremely wise here. The ones who are extremely wise here are those who hate existence itself rather than their own life which is surprisingly rare on this site but it does exist

Nah it makes sense, l too wish l could be "nicer" as a person at times, there are also countless times in the past where l think l could have avoided upset by simply choosing my words better, but at the same time people seem to overly-emote in 2024, express themselves theatrically, do not see a difference between typing a saccharine, self-serving line of faux-sympathy on the internet and actual *empathy*, there is a fundamental dishonesty about a great deal of online interaction which increasingly manifests into offline drama-queenery. Imo if you can be good and honest to the folk who are good and honest whilst learning from the times when you inevitably fuck this up then you are about as nice as it's possible to be.

I don't think there is a lot of wisdom, but there is definitely some. There's a lot to learn from though.
