only with my eyelashes

but I can relate as someone who has a moderate or sometimes severe skin picking problem/dermatillomania which also causes strange stares and a lot of rude and sometimes inappropriate questions

have had it for years, the worst time is when it feels like I can't stop or like my hand is doing its own thing and each time my hands make contact with any part of myself it searches for imperfections to probably pick until they are "gone" and the cycle repeats leaving something else behind to remove

i've never said that i have because it really feels like a big medical term and what if i don't and stuff.

I have pulled out my hair for a while now (from 8-9 years old).
I always had an afro so plenty of hair, but it was really embarassing to leave an area and see hair all over the floor, or look around my room and see hair really all over the floor.
And it'd be really weird to not even realise i was doing it until like after a conversation had ended (cause the conversation was stressful and i guess that's what got me to do it)

I found a lifesaver in braiding my hair, the frequency has dropped to like one strand of hair a month so my hair is gonna be braided forever from now on.

I wouldn't say I have it but I have a tendency to pick at the skin on my fingers. I think it actually started when I was a kid. I stopped for awhile but started doing it again and have struggled stopping it.
It's always when I'm not busy with my hands or they come into veiw and I see an area that could be picked at and I start picking at it until it's "smooth"... usually I end up bleeding so I stop. Always happens when I'm in class. My mom thinks it's anxiety but idk, I don't do it when I feel anxious? I messed up my fingers a bit due to this.

Luckily it's summer so I can distract myself or have a clipper nearby

Oh, I tend to pull at my eyelashes as well
