Protesting the conditions of an inhumane world

Hello,
I've recently been reading more on Thich Quang Duc, the Vietnamese monk who burned himself alive in protest of the religious persecution of Buddhists in his country. He allegedly didn't scream or move at all while he was burning, and was able to maintain the same position without moving. I would like to do the same thing to protest other things that make my life miserable. Does anyone know if there are any painkillers that can reduce the pain of being burned before it happens?
