Is there a specific method you'd never even consider using to ctb?

What's the most unreliable/brutal/inconvenient method you can think of, that you'd never attempt no matter the desperation?
My ideal method would probably be SN, or maybe trying to OD on benzos and downing a bunch of vodka in the hopes of making my death seem more like an accident

But is there any specific method you'd never even consider using?
I'm just curious about people's personal feelings and views on certain methods, since I don't think I have many "hot takes" regarding them.
For me personally, I'd do anything to avoid the most painful methods like self immolation or drowning, but that's honestly it.
I might prefer things like ODing or using SN over other methods, but I could also see myself doing something like decapitation by train or jumping if things got extremely messy in my life, even if I'd do almost anything to avoid causing problems for other people who have to deal with recovering my body... I'd still choose being able to ctb effectively over some stranger having the displeasure of wiping my blood off of some train. Firearms would be an easy way out too but I couldn't get my hands on any sadly.. I just want to hear other people's thoughts on the matter

Generally, throwing myself in front of a vehicle (including trains).
Self-immolation, drowning, taking chemicals that will cause extreme pain (SN, etc., is within my tolerance).
I also have a very serious problem with hanging myself, and I don't think I'd choose that method. I'd have to be very very desperate to try it.

People really only do self-immolation to make some sort of statement, highly doubt someone would do it if their goal was to die and nothing else.

To answer the question though, probably jumping, either off a building or in front of a train because you'll end up severely maimed if you survive. Also ODs and cutting because of how ineffective they are.

Anything that would just lead to more suffering instead of me finally being at true permanent peace, I find it so terrifying how trying to cease existing can go wrong and lead to way worse pain and torture as a result.

It's horrific to me how there is no limit as to how much a human can suffer in this existence and I only continue to suffer as I'm so cruelly denied the option to cease existing painlessly that is guaranteed with no more suffering.

Sounds like those "most painful" methods chase you and you have to make a huge effort to get away from the pursuit )) I noticed that anti-drowning propaganda is pretty common on this forum, but sometimes it has remarkably weird forms. Well, I wouldn't try to consciously drown myself in boiling water or concentrated hydrochloric acid - this could be really painful indeed )

Wondering why you think this? All the videos I've seen the person doesn't look in pain amd passes out within seconds.

SN for me, can't deal with waiting and how long it takes.

honestly nothing is off the table for me if i'm desperate enough
i probably just wouldn't do a very obviously risky method. i wouldn't throw myself in front of a car, for example. but i might do if it's a train.
i probably would not try to bleed to death either or starve, since it's highly painful methods and you most likely end up tapping out midway

Obvious question with an obvious answer: I would not consider any of the methods that have a significant chance of failing and/or resulting in greater suffering or injury. Shouldn't be too hard of a concept to grasp.

Jumping off a Cliff - Don't have the nerve to fall
Jumping in front of a train - I imagine you really feel it
Hanging - Can't stand the idea of being strangled to death

Assuming "SN" here refers to the sleep drug, I don't see how you can levy any complaints against it. It puts you to sleep then cuts breathing. You don't even "know" you're dying. It's just highly illegal and hard to get, and then there is the chance of barfing it up after swallowing. But if you can't eat a slice of bread or follow simple instructions for a peaceful exit . . . I don't know what to tell you except "skill issue."

Personally, I think that medications that are easy to buy or over the counter are very risky, in the sense that they may not work or may lead to a more serious problem — and that would not be death.
I will use as an example a medicine that my family frequently buys because of long car trips, this medicine is capable of inducing an absurd drowsiness, but if used excessively it causes dry mouth, severe stomach pain and urinary retention.

There was a time when I thought about throwing myself in front of trains and other vehicles, but I realized that this idea is pathetic because, if I wanted to die quickly, the vehicle would have to be in high speed or being strategically hit in some vital spot directly while high on something or BOTH. Which is really hard for me, especially the high part.

Jumping off a building also sounds easy and simple to do, as long as the building has 20+ floors and I can climb to the rooftop. Which is complicated, since I live in a house and I don't know anyone who lives in a building like that.

Regarding firearms, my country is a bit complicated in this regard. Anyone who has access to them (and it's not political, police or whatever) needs a license and a good reason for doing so. I don't have time, money, psychological report or patience.

Dehydration, starvation, self-immolation = long, painful, easy to report to authorities or some health organization, rarely works and is not a method you see every day (in other words, you can't say it was done unintentionally, only in EXTREME CASES)

Self-Immolation seems fascinating to me, obviously cannot even comprehend how painful it would be but it's very appealing, like cremations of old, fire engulfing the body turning it to ash. Can't be a FromSoft fan without doing it this way, I'll need to post sometime to gather resources from people more knowledgeable than me
